Lost Crimson Cloak
A haiku booklet intended to encapsulate the connection between man and his inner beast. I utilized color and repetition of shapes to mark the distinction between the veneer of humanity and the wolf hiding beneath.
A lost crimson cloak-
Little human, gnash your teeth
You are one of us.

I took recognizable characters and workshopped them into abstract elements to represent certain characteristics.
Little Red Riding Hood’s cloak was displayed through use of red and curved elements. She represents deceptive innocence, while the wolf represents the honest viciousness of humanity. Sharp, white elements portray the wolf and allude to his teeth.
